Terms of Engagement
Our Standards of Service 
 
We thrive on providing excellent service at DBP Law. We have a policy to be clear of the basis upon which we shall be working with our clients including the charging arrangements. Some of the information is required to be given by the Solicitors Regulations Authority. We notify clients of all the relevant terms at the outset including details of what policies we operate such as complaints equalities and diversity, confidentially etc.

We will update you (By telephone or in writing) with progress where necessary, unless agreed otherwise. We will communicate all information to you in plain language, and will explain (By telephone or in writing) the legal work required as your matter progresses. We will update you on the costs of your matter regularly and in practice and whether the likely outcomes still justify the likely costs and risks associated with your matter when a material change occurs. Where necessary we will provide you with a timescale for each stage in the matter and any important changes in the cost estimates.
